This music comes from a live set created for a performance. The context was a festival against waste culture in general and in the fashion industry in particular. (www.factvicenza.it/home).

Original recordings and library samples of sewing machines as well as related sounds are used as the raw material and provide rhythmical patterns and textures. The live set also involved performing on a sewing machine with some live electronics.

The EP is dedicated to the memory of the Rana Plaza disaster (April 2013) to mark the 10th anniversary.

The 2013 Rana Plaza factory collapse was a structural failure that occurred on 24 April 2013 in the Savar Upazila of Dhaka District, Bangladesh, where an eight-story textile manufacturing plant called Rana Plaza collapsed. The search for the dead ended on 13 May 2013 with a death toll of 1,134.
